Ambient Fields performance

Ambient Fields
Live soundscape performances at remote locations
Exploring the soundscape of a specific place.

Sounds of people and their machines, animals, plants, earth, water, the weather…
Sounds that we know – but also mysterious unknown sounds that cannot be perceived with the naked human ear are made audible by using special microphones.

In the improvisation on site, the sounds are mixed, layered and in part electronically processed in real time.
In this way, the two artists go on a journey of exploration and let the audience join them in the live internet stream.

Sometimes listeners are invited to the site and experience the concert as a silent headphone concert.

The electroacoustic soundscape is laid over the location as a new sound field.

Ambient Fields is testing a concept of flexible mobile and resource-saving pop-up performances.
